In addition to building custom, fully-equipped trucks for its clients, Cobalt Truck Equipment also keeps an extensive inventory of built-up, work-ready truck packages available for immediate delivery.

Summary We are looking for a Commercial Territory Manager based in our Ft. Worth, Texas location to join our team. This is an opportunity to retain and cultivate business relationships, by providing impeccable service to all customers. You will be an integral part of the sales team and the face of the company. To be successful as a commercial territory manager you will need to increase sales volume and gross margin with active accounts, become proficient in Sales Force and have a positive relationship with the top 25 accounts based on volume.

This position services all current and prospective clients by assisting them in ordering the best product for the company. If you are competitive and find pride in overshadowing the competition, then you are the person we are looking for.

Essential Functions

  • Identify, nurture, and manage high volume accounts
  • Provide a high level of professional customer service
  • Bring a new, fresh perspective
  • Assist customers by providing proper product information using your knowledge of the Cobalt product lines
  • Accurately provide Inside Sales with customer requested specs
  • Assist customers in forecasting and planning for future purchases
  • Final inspection of trucks - you will be climbing in, on, and under vehicles up to 25% of your time
Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in customer relationship management. This includes being polished, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and patient.
  • Strong track record of consistent success producing new accounts and expanding existing account relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, accounting and problem solving skills.
  • Thoroughness and detail oriented
  • Good organization and time management skills (ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines).
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Travel: Up to 50% travel.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in truck or machinery related industries preferred and a technical background is a plus.

Ability to acquire Class B CDL within 3 months of hire.

Work Environment This position works remotely and/or in the main office during the workday. This role requires a large amount of driving and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

Annual Compensation Range: $42,000 base plus commission, with the potential to earn $125,000+ per year.
