Customer Service Rep
The Account Services Representative-eTail builds and maintains profitable relationships with ecommerce, brick-and-mortar, and distribution customers for the company. This role involves taking full personal responsibility for each customer interaction and ensuring all customer needs are fully met.
Essential Functions Customer Service Responsibilities- Assists every customer in a timely manner
- Manages orders taken by phone, fax, email or EDI integration, ensuring accurate entry into the order management system
- Processes customer orders in a courteous, efficient and timely manner
- Organizes workflow to meet customer deadlines
- Presents and discusses the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs
- Manages inbound and outbound phone calls and emails professionally, efficiently and with good oral and written communication skills
- Understands and appropriately uses corporate pricing systems to create profitable sales
- Reviews quotes and orders for accuracy, and assists customers and works with warehouse group in cases of shipping damages or discrepancies.
- Assists the finance group with accounts receivables responsibilities and works with customer accounts payable contacts.
- Supports the company vision and mission and demonstrates the corporate core values in all professional activities.
- Follows all safety requirements, work rules, and regulations.
- All other duties as requested by management.
- This is an on-site position that requires a minimum of 5 days on-site per week. Hybrid options may be available upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- Up to 10% of domestic/international travel is required to attend mandatory company meetings.
- Associates degree in related field preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years customer service experience is required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retailer accounts.
- Experience in a call center environment is highly preferable
- Knowledge of the animal health pharmaceutical industry for bovine, equine and companion animals is highly preferable
- Computer skills and experience in utilizing order management programs is required, including, but not limited to Microsoft 365 Applications, EDI/integration Order processing, and accounts receivable management
- Experience using JD Edwards is highly preferred
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with shifting priorities
