About the roleAt Boston Scientific, we provide opportunities to work with diverse high‑performing teams to tackle important health industry challenges. The Coronary Therapies Principal Territory Manager will work closely with a clinical specialist, building strong relationships with physicians and staff in the catheterization lab, and will have strong sales aptitude and coaching readiness. This role focuses on selling products for cardiovascular diseases, coronary artery disease, and acute myocardial infarction, including coronary drug‑coated balloons, IVUS, drug‑eluting stents, catheters, balloons, guide wires and coronary atherectomy.
Yourresponsibilities will include
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors (product, competition, pricing) to promote the company’s products to hospital personnel and physicians.
- Develops action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs and discussing issues with Regional Sales Manager to help achieve annual sales goals.
- Determines the needs, goals, product usage, and case types for specific customers by meeting with physicians and other hospital personnel.
- Observes procedures in cardiac catheterization or electro‑physiology labs and ORs to gain insight into physician and staff nuances.
- Establishes pricing packages with BSC personnel to meet customer needs while satisfying company guidelines.
- Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service, developing creative solutions or working with related personnel.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel to identify key purchasing decision makers for future sales.
- Educates customers on product merits and proper clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of previous experience in sales.
- A four‑year degree with a background in sales and a proven track record of success.
- Strong clinical, analytical and selling skills.
- Problem‑solving and ability to be coached and directed by teammates.
- Must live within the assigned geographical territory.

The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position is $65,000
, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
