Job Overview
The Sales Administrator Intern will support the Audio‑Visual sales team by assisting with administrative, coordination, and sales operations tasks. This role provides exposure to the AV industry, including collaboration solutions, conferencing technology, structured cabling, and integrated systems for corporate, education, healthcare, and commercial environments.
This internship is ideal for individuals interested in technology, sales operations, and customer-focused business roles.
Key Responsibilities- Support AV sales representatives with administrative and operational tasks
- Assist in preparing sales quotes, proposals, and bid documentation for AV systems and services
- Maintain and update CRM records, including customer information, opportunities, and project notes
- Help track sales pipeline activity, orders, and project milestones
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to support sales efforts
- Assist with interpreting equipment lists, bill of materials (BOMs), and basic system documentation
- Process sales orders and ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, and configurations
- Support scheduling of sales meetings, demos, site visits, and customer presentations
- Conduct basic market or product research on AV manufacturers, solutions, and technologies
- Provide general administrative support related to sales operations and customer engagement
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technology Management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset
- Interest in audio‑visual technology, collaboration tools, or systems integration
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Basic understanding of technology products, hardware, or IT-related concepts
- Previous administrative, customer service, or internship experience
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and project teams
- Eagerness to learn technical concepts related to AV systems
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative
- Hands-on experience in the Audio‑Visual and systems integration industry
- Exposure to real-world sales processes, proposals, and project workflows
- Understanding of AV technologies such as conferencing, displays, audio systems, and control
- Mentorship from experienced sales and technology professionals
- Development of transferable skills in sales operations, communication, and business administration
