About the role: The Hepatic Artery Infusion (HAI) Consultant is responsible for driving sales of HAI products within a defined territory, developing new accounts, expanding usage within existing accounts, and building strong relationships with a multidisciplinary clinical team. The position is based in St. Louis and covers the Central United States (MN, CO, MO, NE).
Your Responsibilities will include:- Managing territory sales of the HAI pump and infusion accessories.
- Developing and executing sales strategies and action plans at both existing and new accounts.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and yearly territory quota attainment.
- Developing a deep understanding of clinical data supporting HAI therapy and communicating effectively with target customers.
- Providing clinical, product, and technical assistance and training to physicians, infusion staff, surgeons, nuclear medicine/IR, and other healthcare providers.
- Owning existing and onboarding HAI centers, establishing relationships with key HAI champions.
- Supporting pump implant procedures in the operating room and coordinating with HAI specialists for case coverage.
- Navigating hospital purchasing and administrative groups to secure approvals for the HAI pump and accessories.
- Identifying, developing, and establishing new potential customers and leading onboarding, including product approval and engagement of multidisciplinary teams.
- Building productive relationships with key opinion leaders in the HAI market.
- Collaborating with therapy centers to market their programs and grow procedure volume.
- Maintaining up‑to‑date customer information in Intera CRM to support sales planning and pump tracking.
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of the HAI pump and accessories and providing in‑service support.
- Collaborating with Therapy Development Managers to amplify outreach, awareness, and advocacy for HAI.
- Travel: 50‑75% required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of medical device sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Documented sales success with verifiable sales numbers and rankings.
- Strong analytical and sales skills.
- Strong clinical sales experience.
- Experience managing a large number of accounts across a large geography.
- Oncology sales experience.
- Experience navigating multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Operating room experience.
Compensation: Annualized base salary range of $90,000 to $120,000
, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and core and optional benefits. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
