This role positions you to learn the business from a sales and commercialization perspective by working closely with Account Executives and Pre‑sales teams to discover opportunities and develop them into revenue‑generating client solutions, targeting key decision‑makers across the U.S. in designated industry verticals.
Responsibilities- Spearhead AI development & campaigns: leverage Clay as your primary AI tool to develop highly targeted outreach campaigns and drive automated workflow efficiency.
- Advanced account & market research: conduct detailed account research alongside dedicated industry research on Manufacturing, Retail, or CPG markets in North America to understand customer trends and pain points.
- Pipeline & funnel management: own top‑of‑the‑funnel activities—including partners, executive council engagement, events, and other standard outreach strategies—to aggressively increase qualified opportunities.
- Drive competitive win‑rates: actively contribute to increasing win‑rates during competitive sales cycles generated from your pipeline.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: partner directly with Industry Sales Leaders, Account Executives, and Solutions Consultants to initiate introductory meetings, including limited demonstrations of the o9 platform when needed.
- Outreach & community innovation: collaborate with the o9 Creative team to design innovative content and outreach strategies as well as continued community engagement events in various markets.
- Proactive growth: seek new business opportunities in the U.S. market through marketing campaigns, event marketing, and social media activities.
- Global knowledge sharing: network and share outbound best practices with parallel Innovation Strategist teams across EMEA and India.
- Data integrity management: maintain clean, up‑to‑date prospect and client information, using Salesforce as the central repository.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, marketing, quantitative, supply chain, or engineering.
- Experience: 2–4 years in a Business Development Representative role, consulting, or similar.
- Core mindset: Intellectual curiosity, drive to make an impact, and grit to seek and understand complex supply‑chain challenges.
- Domain knowledge: Basic understanding of supply‑chain planning concepts is a plus; eagerness to learn is essential.
Annual salary range: $67,918–$93,387. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in medical, retirement, and other company‑sponsored benefits.
