Position SummaryThe Sales Support Representative serves as the primary inbound contact for clients and leads, delivering high-quality client success support and sales enablement to help retain customers and drive revenue. This hands‑on role qualifies inbound leads, handles client inquiries, supports outside sales with quotes and order processing, and ensures smooth handoffs and excellent client experience.
Responsibilities- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and web inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Qualify inbound leads: gather contact details, needs, timeline, budget, and buying readiness; record and update CRM entries.
- Route qualified leads to outside sales with clear handoff notes and follow‑up tasks.
- Support outside sales: prepare quotes/proposals, assist with order entry, track contract and fulfillment status.
- Manage client issues (billing, product questions, returns, scheduling); resolve or escalte according to guidelines.
- Conduct onboarding tasks and follow‑ups to ensure timely time‑to‑value for new clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM and ticket records; document interactions and next steps.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes, renewals, and service requests to advance opportunities.
- Contribute client feedback and suggestions to product, operations, and sales teams.
- 2+ years in client success, customer service, inside sales, or sales support.
- Strong phone presence and clear verbal/written communication.
- Experience qualifying leads and supporting sales workflows.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot, MS Dynamics or similar) and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Customer‑focused, team‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally.
- Experience in B2B environments or supporting outside sales teams – Preferred
- Familiarity with quoting/order‑entry tools and basic contract/admin processes – Preferred
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing and walking.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
