As Branch Sales Manager you will have P&L responsibility and lead your team in building value and ongoing relationships with new and existing industrial B2B customers. You will spend much of your time in the field, calling on and developing customers across diverse industries such as aggregate, food & beverage, paper, OEMs, schools, hospitals, government, and more.
- Hire, train, and develop strong performers
- Develop, manage, and implement service center sales activities and strategies, account assignment & territory management, sales performance goal achievement, and margin improvement
- Identify and evaluate new customers, market conditions, opportunities, and competitive pressures
- Recommend and implement actions to maximize sales, increase margins, and expand market share
- Manage personally assigned accounts as required
- 1+ year sales management & leadership experience
- 2+ years B2B outside sales experience with a tangible product
- Industrial distribution experience a plus
- Operations and/or P&L experience a plus
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication (including English grammar)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Not eligible for relocation benefits; position performed on site
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship of work visas is not offered
