We are seeking an Intake Specialist to join our team at our program in Fort Worth, TX.
Earn $18.06 per hour plus full benefits
Position Details- Match therapists to clients coordinating area and need.
- Contact health plans or payers to gather policy benefits/limitations and complete eligibility and benefits verification to ensure services provided will be covered by the insurance.
- Confirm and ensure the accuracy of data and documents and all communication in the computer database.
- Respond in a timely manner to all referrals and enter them into the software database.
- Alert appropriate team members regarding late or missing documents required.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients/clients, and all colleagues and therapists.
- Work with team, therapists, and patients to identify potential solutions as problems are identified with payer sources.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient/client and agency information at all times.
- Gain knowledge of applicable payer guidelines and provide documentation of eligibility, benefits, and authorizations.
- Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
