Sales Leader Opportunity

Help build the premier painting company in Texas. Lead, develop, and scale a high-performance in-home sales team.

Alliance Painting is one of the fastest-growing residential painting companies in North Texas, and we're looking for a proven sales leader to help us reach the next level.

This is not a role for someone who simply manages a pipeline or oversees inside sales representatives. We're looking for a leader with experience in in-home, one-call-close sales environments who knows how to recruit, coach, develop, and hold a team accountable to high standards.

If you've successfully led sales teams in painting, roofing, remodeling, windows, HVAC, solar, foundation repair, or other residential home-service industries, we want to talk.

About the Role

As Sales Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing our team of Project Consultants while driving performance across the entire sales department.

Your primary responsibility is not selling jobs yourself it's building a team that consistently performs at a high level.

You will work directly with ownership to improve sales systems, increase close rates, grow average job size, improve gross profit performance, recruit top talent, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Sales Process

Alliance Painting operates a structured consultative, one-call-close sales process. Our Project Consultants meet homeowners in their homes, inspect projects, build trust, uncover needs, create solutions, present pricing, and ask for the sale during the appointment.

This is not a quote-and-hope business.

The ideal candidate understands:

You should be comfortable coaching salespeople through the entire in-home sales process from the initial greeting to signed agreement.

Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Coaching
  • Lead, develop, and mentor Project Consultants
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs and field coaching
  • Review proposals, estimates, and sales presentations
  • Improve closing percentages through training and accountability
  • Hold weekly one-on-one coaching sessions
  • Lead sales meetings and training workshops
Recruiting & Team Development
  • Recruit top-performing sales talent
  • Create onboarding and training processes
  • Develop future sales leaders within the organization
  • Build a strong sales culture focused on performance and professionalism
Performance Management
  • Track and manage sales KPIs
  • Monitor appointment-to-sale conversion rates
  • Improve revenue per appointment
  • Increase average job size
  • Improve gross profit performance
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
Process Improvement
  • Improve sales systems and workflows
  • Ensure CRM adoption and accountability
  • Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Build scalable systems that support long-term growth
Strategic Leadership
  • Work directly with ownership on company growth initiatives
  • Participate in leadership meetings
  • Assist with annual planning and forecasting
  • Help shape the future direction of the sales organization

Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience leading a sales team
  • Experience managing performance through KPIs and accountability
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to recruit and develop talent
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting

Strongly Preferred

  • Residential home-services experience

Compensation

Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000, based on experience and leadership track record.
