This role is responsible for generating qualified leads, building strong referral relationships, and guiding prospective residents and families through the decision-making process. The Director of Community Relations plays a key role in driving census growth while delivering high-quality, relationship-centered experience.

Responsibilities Sales and Admissions Support Respond to all inquiries (phone, walk-in, referral, and online) in a timely and professional manner
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective residents using a CRM system
Conduct community tours, home visits, and follow-up with prospective residents and families
Track leads, waitlists, and conversion metrics
Meet or exceed census and revenue goals
Business Development and Outreach Build and maintain relationships with our top referral partners
Attend networking events and represent the organization in the community
Facilitate new referral and business opportunities
Stay informed on local market trends and competitors
Marketing and Events Partner with marketing and leadership to implement sales and marketing plans
Partner with our internal team for educational seminars, family events, and community outreach programs
Support brand awareness and community engagement efforts
Collaboration
Work closely with the Director of Admissions and Family Experience to ensure a smooth transition for new residents
Partner with clinical and operations teams to support move-in planning and resident needs
Participate in regular sales, census, and leadership meetings

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required5+ years of experience in senior living sales, healthcare sales, or related field
Proven track record of meeting sales or census goals
Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Experience using CRM systems (Welcome Home or similar preferred)
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Requirements
Ability to travel locally for outreach and meetings
Availability for occasional evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license & auto insurance
