- Design, install, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and security and optimize network traffic for efficiency and reliability
- Troubleshoot network problems and outages and make necessary repairs and adjustments
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches and security configurations
- Collaborate with other departments to determine network requirements and design solutions to meet the organization's needs
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support preferred
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+; certifications preferred)
- Fortinet experience preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site environments
- Strong project management methodologies
- Solid experience leading projects from inception to completion; highly skilled trainer
- A thorough understanding of the business environment spanning all disciplines and the day-to-day business interplay
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to drive speedy and correct solutions
- A commitment to safety and to conditions that may affect associate safety
- Manufacturing automation experience strongly preferred
