Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Route Driver Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support site personnel with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense‑focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security‑related concerns according to site protocols.
- Support emergency actions by assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and coordination with public responders and/or site management during incidents and special situations.
- Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
