What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, contractors, and approved visitors.
* Support emergency situations by following post orders, communicating with local authorities and/or site leadership, and assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, and other response activities as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
* Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
* Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
* Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
