Armed Security Officer - Research Firm

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or badges, and support authorized access procedures for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and sensitive work areas.;
Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and assisting with security-related escorts when appropriate.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
