What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points and help to verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and regulatory requirements.

* Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and following post orders for sensitive areas where working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

* Require at least 2 years of security-related experience.

* Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.

* Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
