** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a defense-related location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, credentials, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior, access concerns, and other security-related issues.

+ Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders for an armed assignment, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
