Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Tue 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Wed 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized entry into controlled areas in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain readiness for an armed patrol post by handling assigned equipment responsibly, following post orders, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

• Possess 3 or more years of Armed security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
