Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (MS Degree - Cyber). In this role, you will conduct cyber risk assessment activities, conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs and implements RMF steps for Assessment and Authorizations. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Cyber Security Engineering Software and hardware design, system hardening, cyber architecture design, AI tools.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree in Cyber Security Engineering; will consider Software Engineering
Experience Advanced programming and scripting experience in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell, Scripts), ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Hugging Face), or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Familiar with full software development life cycle, and system engineering processes
Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems
Experience and/or knowledge of Patch Management systems.

Desired skills

Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework
Experience and/or knowledge of Agile Methodologies
DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)
Experience and/or knowledge of Patch Management systems.
Advanced knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate STIG, Trivy, SCAP or other cyber scanning tools
Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework
Experience and/or knowledge of Agile Methodologies
DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or higher)

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $82,900 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
