The F‑35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, providing unparalleled flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. This multi‑role fighter combines air‑to‑air combat, air‑to‑air ground strikes, electronic attack, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance into a single platform. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead, analyze, organize, plan, execute and control the functional security responsibilities of F‑35 Sustainment Site/Ship Activation and Maintenance Depot/Warehouse activities for F‑35 partner and customer stand‑up operations.
The individual will need experience and a strong working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Technical Specifications; US Department of Defense Special Access Program Security Manual (DoD Directive 5205.07); 32 CFR 117 – National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other industrial security related manuals. General knowledge and familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
The role requires routine customer travel (up to 40 %) both domestically and internationally and will be based in Fort Worth for all‑encompassing security support to the F‑35 Security Team when not on travel.

Basic Qualifications- Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from investigation close date.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
- Possesses extensive experience with and knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.
- Experience as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or Assistant Contractor SAP Security Officer (ACCSO).
- Experience in writing procedural documentation and interpreting contractual documentation.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience providing briefings to large audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with F‑35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Security related to these same referenced F‑35 site activation stand‑up efforts or similar experience with other USG customers.
- Experience with technical aspects of aircraft/weapon systems and applying DoD security requirements to the bed‑down and sustainment of said system(s).
- Air vehicle production security experience.
- Be self‑driven and results oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.
- Be highly organized and have advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Leadership qualities.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
