Part Time Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Thur 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
* Operate in accordance with post orders and weapons policies, maintaining professionalism and situational awareness while supporting security-related operations in a dynamic location.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience.
* Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
* Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
* Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
