Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour
Job Schedule- Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support controlled entry procedures in accordance with site requirements and post orders.
- Support assigned post responsibilities while handling security-related concerns, following escalation protocols, and maintaining professional interactions in a location where conditions may vary by site.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or verifiable armed security experience.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
