Uniformed Security Officer (Patrol Division) – City Center Security
City Center Security is a premier security provider specializing in the protection of private commercial and residential properties in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. We are currently seeking reliable, professional, and physically capable individuals to join our Uniformed Patrol Division.
As a Uniformed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong security presence, preventing unauthorized activity, and responding to incidents with professionalism and integrity. This position offers clear pathways for advancement into specialized roles such as executive protection, investigations, training, technical security, and supervisory or management positions.
In this highly visible role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety of our clients, their staff, and their properties throughout downtown Fort Worth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or by vehicle in all weather conditions while monitoring for suspicious or unsafe activity.
- Maintain a professional appearance in a company-provided uniform while interacting courteously with clients, visitors, and the public.
- Write clear and detailed incident reports to document observations and events.
- Respond promptly to incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and collaborate with law enforcement as needed.
- Complete our state‑licensed, in‑house training academy to become a licensed Armed Security Officer and Personal Protection Officer.
- Work rotating 8‑hour shifts (24/7), including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, with potential short‑notice travel.
- Competitive Compensation: $55,000 annual base salary, with opportunities for periodic overtime.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, psychological, and physical examinations.
- Full availability for 24/7 rotating 8‑hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and short‑notice travel.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols (on foot, bicycle, and vehicle), complete defensive tactics, martial arts, and firearms training.
- Ability to qualify for Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau commissioning as a Commissioned and Personal Protection Officer.
- Willingness to complete a physically and academically challenging training academy.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, security, law enforcement, or military.
- EMT or Paramedic certification.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail for writing incident reports.
