Overview
Trinity Industries, Inc. is seeking a talented Security Officer for a full-time night shift at our Ft. Worth, TX plant. The role conducts regular monitoring of the property, serves as the first point of contact for visitors, assists with investigating on-site incidents, prevents theft, and mitigates escalated situations. The Security Officer also acts as a liaison between customers, visitors, and employees and prepares documentation to support the security administration program.
Responsibilities- Monitor the property regularly and welcome visitors entering the building or property, coordinating access as needed.

- Serve as a liaison between customers, visitors, and employees to facilitate communication and safety.
- Prepare and maintain documentation to support the security administration program.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and respond appropriately to security incidents in a manufacturing environment.
- This is a full-time night shift position with a complete benefits package.
- Work year-round, inside and outside, with exposure to inclement weather and variable conditions.
- Work on various surfaces and environmental terrains and navigate stairs multiple times per shift.
- Operate in a manufacturing setting with high noise, dust, and machinery, including cranes, forklifts, presses, grinders, welding equipment, etc.
- Work alone during the shift, including nights.
- High school education (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a security officer.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interface with individuals at all levels.
- Prior knowledge of security operations and safety practices in a business or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work shift work including days, swing, nights, weekends, and holidays year-round.
- Prior experience enforcing procedures and policies preferred.
