Security Officer Armed Patrol Response
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required activity reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
