** Fort Worth, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and use communication and computer-based tools to support operations.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas of the facility.

+ Help to control entry and exit of vehicles, trailers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, warehouse areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control/badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
