Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver DoD Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Monitor access control points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
