We specialize in complex mechanical systems, including HVAC piping, chilled and heating water systems, and specialty installations in environments such as manufacturing facilities, food plants, data centers, laboratories, and occupied commercial buildings.
Compensation- $40.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Special Projects Foreman to support complex, non‑routine mechanical and HVAC piping projects across our Dallas‑Fort Worth market. This role is ideal for a highly skilled field leader who thrives in hands‑on work, enjoys variety in project scope, and takes pride in mentoring apprentices while delivering high‑quality installations.
Projects change frequently and may include retrofits, shutdown work, specialty piping installations, and equipment replacements. The foreman typically works independently with an apprentice, with occasional responsibility for leading a crew of up to four team members.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced mechanical and HVAC piping installations across commercial and industrial projects
- Lead and mentor apprentices while maintaining productivity, safety, and workmanship standards
- Execute welding, fabrication, and piping installations to specification and code
- Interpret mechanical drawings and basic prints
- Coordinate daily work activities and sequencing in the field
- Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery required for mechanical installations
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, crew members, and other trades
- Maintain job‑site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies
- Support night, weekend, and overtime work during plant shutdowns or special projects
- Ability to weld pipe in all positions using 6010/6011 electrodes; occasional use of 7018
- TIG welding experience with stainless steel piping
- Experience in soldering copper piping from 1/4 inch through 3 inches
- Fabrication and installation of grooved and threaded pipe systems
- Installation and operation of Pro Press and Mega Press systems
- Experience retrofitting piping to chillers, pumps, and mechanical equipment
- Installation of chilled water and heating water piping systems
- Ability to hand‑signal cranes during installation of RTUs, MAUs, and Intelli Pacs
- Ability to lead a small crew efficiently and provide on‑the‑job training
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Prior leadership or foreman experience
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment such as chillers, air compressors, and large pumps
- Ability to climb vertical ladders onto rooftops or into mechanical pits
- Ability to work in confined spaces, including crawl spaces
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
