The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

• Perform routine building maintenance, including basic plumbing, painting, patching, and flooring repairs
• Conduct minor electrical tasks such as replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, and bulbs
• Diagnose issues and determine the best repair solutions
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments as scheduled
• Assist with equipment repairs and facility improvement projects
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, or other materials
• Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
• Install hardware, shelving, partitions, and other structural components
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Proven experience as a Carpenter Handyman or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, or in various environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Background check and drug test required
