MEI Industrial Solutions offers a Rigger Apprenticeship Trainee Program. ProgramEligibility and Structure
MEI is tasked daily with moving heavy, expensive, and often highly sensitive equipment in construction and operating facility environments. The Rigging Apprenticeship Program is designed for individuals without prior rigging knowledge to start a career as a skilled Rigger, with opportunities to develop through hands-on experience and formal training oversight. Upon completing the multi-phase program, participants gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform in various Machinery Moving/Rigging positions.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions- Performing physical activities that require substantial use of arms and legs and whole-body movement (e.g., climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials up to 50 pounds).
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment year-round.
- Ability to work in a highly functioning team environment.
- Display honesty, integrity, professionalism; take pride in work and the company.
- Communicate openly and strive for peak performance in daily tasks.
- Know and deliver the quality service MEI's customers expect.
All candidates must complete pre-employment contingencies upon accepting an offer with MEI that include a 5-panel drug test and a Criminal Background Check.

Qualifications- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Committed to learning and willing to complete all assignments, tasks, and assessments required by the program, including any pre-work and homework before or after related training seminars.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Training materials, assignments, and assessments are provided in English only.
- Available to be present in-person for six, bi-monthly, 3-day seminars beginning in July 2026 (air travel, if applicable).
