Job Summary
We are hiring In‑Store Bagger (ISB) Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and service our in‑store ice‑making and bagging machines. ISB Technicians play a key role in keeping our clients’ equipment running reliably and smoothly and perform a variety of tasks, from plumbing, mechanical, electrical and HVAC work.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance on in‑store ice‑making and bagging machines.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC components.
- Operate low‑voltage controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Utilize service vehicles and handheld devices to complete reporting SOPs.
- Support clients by maintaining equipment reliability and performance.
- Minimum 2+ years of repair/service experience in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or plumbing.
- Working knowledge of low‑voltage controls and/or programmable logic controllers.
- Valid driver’s license (Operator’s/Class
C) and acceptable MVR. - High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer and handheld skills and ability to follow reporting SOPs.
- Journeyman certification/license in electrical, plumbing, mechanical disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Team‑oriented.
- Good communicator.
Physical Requirements
Minimal travel with potential overnight, weekend, night, and holiday work required. Must be able to drive between retail stores and plant location, lift 60 pounds, use installation lift equipment, climb ladders, and work with power tools. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment that demands stress management and professional collaboration.
