Your Role:
Level II Voice & Data Technician


As a Level II Technician, you'll play a key role supporting structured cabling and network infrastructure installations on active commercial construction and data center projects.

You'll work alongside Lead Technicians, Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers while helping maintain production schedules and installation quality.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Installing and terminating Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling
  • Performing terminations on patch panels, 110 blocks, and fiber enclosures
  • Testing and certifying cabling using Fluke testing equipment
  • Reading blueprints, riser diagrams, and construction drawings
  • Installing ladder rack, cable tray, supports, and pathways
  • Assisting with rack-and-stack builds and MDF/IDF room organization
  • Supporting data center moves, adds, and changes
  • Leading and mentoring small crews of Helper and Level I Technicians
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas

What We're Looking For
  • 2-4+ years of structured cabling or Voice & Data experience
  • Experience with copper and fiber optic installations
  • Fiber termination and testing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Fluke testers and cable certification processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Experience leading or mentoring small crews is a plus
  • Knowledge of EIA/TIA industry standards preferred
  • Comfortable working in commercial construction and data center environments
  • Reliable transportation and professional attitude required
