Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Operator – Excavator (Mesquite, TX). The Excavator Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment for earthwork projects.
Responsibilities- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Operate equipment safely and in a controlled manner.
- Grade to elevations and tolerances.
- Become proficient before advancing to another machine.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
- Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
