Maintenance Technician

Location

This role is fully onsite in our Fort Worth, TX office.

As Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Insight facilities, contributing to the overall safety of the work environment.

• General maintenance of the building, including repair and painting of exterior and interior walls.
• Minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs and installations.
• Assembly and disassembly of modular workstations.
• Cleaning and upkeep of the premises.
• Minor carpentry repairs and installations.
• Upgrading and replacing building components.
• Maintaining the physical appearance of local facilities.
• Backup support for the Switchboard Receptionist, Maintenance Technician, and Mailroom Associate as required.
• Security and daily closing of the building, including activation of the alarm system.
• Interaction with contractors and vendors.
• Making deliveries to multiple Insight facilities and the public post office.
• Participation in departmental functions and projects as directed by management.

• High school diploma or GED plus one to two years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work at heights using ladders, powered lifts, or scaffolding.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Freedom to work from another location, including an international destination, for up to 30 consecutive calendar days per year.
