Industrial and Mechanical Electrician

IHG Mechanical is seeking a full-time Industrial and Mechanical Electrician to join our team in Fort Worth, TX.

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or 6+ years of on-the-job electrical experience
• Experience installing electrical systems in industrial refrigeration equipment
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes
• Ability to travel nationwide for projects
• Must have the ability to pass a background check

As an Industrial and Mechanical Electrician at IHG Mechanical, you will install electrical infrastructure and wiring for industrial refrigeration systems, including high-voltage power circuits and low-voltage control circuits. You will follow blueprints, specifications, and all applicable electrical codes to ensure proper connections to compressors, condensers, fans, and control panels. Your responsibilities will include wiring and integrating control panels such as MCCs, PLCs, and DDCs, connecting sensors, thermostats, safety devices, and solenoid valves to ensure proper operation.

Each day, you will conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems, verifying voltage, grounding, and circuit functionality. You will interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer manuals, ensuring accurate installation while strictly following all safety protocols and electrical codes.

This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $33 to $50 per hour, with tools provided, and the opportunity to work on projects across the United States.
