Position: Shop Foreman [ID:81AF]
A trusted fleet and equipment repair provider is hiring a Shop Foreman in Fort Worth, TX to lead shop operations, repairs, and technician workflow. Ideal candidates have diesel, fleet, diagnostics, and repair experience. Apply now for steady day-shift work, overtime, and career development.

Duties & Responsibilities Lead daily shop workflow, scheduling, work assignments, and technician coverage.

Supervise technicians while maintaining safety, quality, professionalism, and customer service standards.

Diagnose, repair, inspect, and oversee work on fleet vehicles, service vehicles, and equipment.

Use wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, diagnostic tools, tablet-based tools, and email to manage repairs and documentation.

Communicate with customers, resolve concerns, identify service needs, and support compliance and spill-prevention standards.

Represent the team professionally while managing priorities with independence and accountability.

Requirements

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of mechanic experience with diesel, fleet, service vehicle, or equipment maintenance.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Class A or B CDL required.

Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills, including the ability to read wiring and hydraulic diagrams.

Ability to use diagnostic tools, tablet-based tools, email, and Microsoft Office to support scheduling, dispatching, repairs, and communication.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, safe work habits, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Must provide basic hand tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass eRailSafe background screening, pre-employment drug testing, and random drug testing.

Preferred:

Prior lead, foreman, or team management experience.

Familiarity with Hyrail equipment and ANSI, FRA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA requirements.

Formal technician or mechanic training, including equipment or long-haul truck training.

Ability to operate forklifts, telehandlers, hydraulic lifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.#PJ1 Compensation:$30.00 - $36.00/hr based on experience
