Maintenance Technician I

Location: Ft Worth, TX (Fully onsite)

• General maintenance of the building including repair and painting of exterior/interior walls, minor electrical/plumbing repairs/installations, dismantling/assembly of modular workstations, building maintenance & cleaning of premises, minor carpentry repairs/installations, upgrading/replacing building components, maintaining physical appearance of local facilities.
• Serve as backup to Switchboard Receptionist, Maintenance Technician, and Mailroom Associate as required.
• Provide security for the building.
• Daily closing of the building and activation of alarm systems.
• Interaction with contractors and vendors.
• Make deliveries to multiple Insight facilities and public post office.
• Other departmental functions and projects as directed/required by management.

• High school diploma or GED plus one to two years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Capable of working at heights with ladders, powered lifts, or scaffolding.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills and good verbal & written communication skills.

• Freedom to work from another location—including an international destination—for up to 30 consecutive calendar days per year.
