Truck Body Technician

Stevens Transport/Paragon Leasing, LP fully services heavy-duty commercial tractors and trailers out of our Dallas, Texas terminal and is hiring Truck Body Technicians to perform various major and minor structural repairs on diesel trucks, including frames, fiberglass, and sheet metal replacement. Multiple shifts available.

Truck Body Technicians will perform collision repairs, fabrications, welding, Bondo work, install and align cab components, repair damage to fiberglass, composites, steel, and aluminum, replace windshields, prime, seal, paint, replace fenders, panels, bumpers, and other body parts.

• Repair damaged fiberglass, composites, steel and aluminum
• Windshield replacements
• Priming, sealing and painting
• Replacing fenders, panels, bumpers and other body parts

• Have your own tools
• Minimum 2+ years doing Bondo work
• Minimum 2+ years in collision repair
• Collision repair certification a plus
• Preferred: collision repair experience on Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt trucks

Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trucks/tight spaces to properly inspect and diagnose problems. Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements. Using hands to handle, control or feel. Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Exposure to high decibels of noise, temperature, weather variations, metal welding processes and chemicals (solvents, undercoating, paint, caulking).
