Helicopter Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled helicopter mechanic who is well-versed in using test equipment for rotor system tracking and balancing adjustments. The ideal candidate will be adept at interpreting Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for application on helicopters, and familiar with measuring instruments such as dial calipers, micrometers, tensiometers, dial bore gauges, feeler gauges, and borescopes.
Responsibilities- Adjust and troubleshoot engine parameters for oil pressure, temperature indication, and topping settings.
- Apply torque to fasteners using common hand tools.
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and work performed on aircraft in accordance with repair station guidelines.
- Inspect and repair aircraft according to strict safety guidelines set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or applicable regulatory body.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and diagnostic tests to identify hydraulic and mechanical issues.
- Refer to maintenance blueprints, manuals, and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment, and maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations.
- Complete tasks within allotted time frames to meet FAA (or equivalent) and company standards.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating smoothly.
- Possession of an Airframe & Powerplant license.
- Inspection and Authorization License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as a helicopter mechanic, with at least 2 years on designated helicopters (Airbus: AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145; Agusta: 109, 119, 139; Bell: 206, 407, 429, 412, 505; MD: 500; Sikorsky: S76).
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Any OEM school training within the past 4 years.
- Experience working on commercial and military helicopters.
- Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
