Position Summary

Dyna Ten is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This essential role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility systems  technician plays a critical role in ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, welding, prefabrication, and facility equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery including saws, presses, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, material handling systems, and other shop equipment
  • Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems supporting fabrication, warehouse, and office operations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including lighting, ice machines, kitchen equipment, and other building systems
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for parts procurement, repairs, and maintenance support
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and facility modifications
  • Collaborate with shop supervisors and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
  • Identify equipment reliability concerns and recommend maintenance or process improvements
  • Support facility upkeep and routine maintenance activities
  • Maintain facility equipment and infrastructure in a safe, reliable, and operational condition to support business objectives
  • Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established maintenance procedures
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment through adherence to company safety standards
  • Maintain strong working relationships with production teams, supervisors, vendors, and service providers
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance, facility operations, and maintenance effectiveness
  • Demonstrate accountability, organization, and follow-through on all assigned maintenance activities
  • Represent Dyna Ten in a professional and positive manner
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude while supporting operational needs
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or facility maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and facility maintenance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Basic mathematical, reading, and English language skills
