Maintenance Engineer

About the opportunity:
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operationally supporting all building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained property.

What you'll get to do:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
  • Respond promptly to guest and internal maintenance requests and work orders
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to lighting, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and general building maintenance
  • Inspect property systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure operational reliability

Skills and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, technical training or certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of maintenance or engineering experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
