Field Mechanic – Austin Bridge & Road – Farmers Branch, TX

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Mechanic, Field. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. This role requires at least 3 years of service and repair experience on heavy equipment.

• Owning your own tools.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Work hours adjusted to meet the project’s needs; days, nights and weekends.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Mechanical aptitude with required knowledge of diesel engines.
• Transmissions.
• Electrical systems.
• Hydraulic systems.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
• Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment preferred.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
