Journeyman Equipment Operator
Location: Fort. Worth, Tx
Payrate: $23–$25/hour + $85 PER DIEM (pay is negotiable based on experience and skill level)

Job SummaryEquipment operators must be able to operate multiple types of heavy equipment, interpret blueprints, layout, cut grade and have GPS experience. Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite is required.
Key Responsibilities- Complies with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Performs pre-shift equipment checklist before operating equipment, with the ability of recognizing flawed, defective, or unsafe operation.
- Shows the knowledge and experience to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operator must be able to interpret blue prints and layout contours, slopes, ditches, etc., and safely cut to grade.
- Operator has the understanding and proper training to perform proper benching and sloping, as required, per OSHA regulation.
- Keeps spoiled material clear of trenches and walk surfaces smoothed per OSHA regulation.
- Proven experience in operating Heavy Equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings a plus
- Safety-focused with reliable work habits
