Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
Southern Botanical is seeking a skilled Residential Irrigation Technician to support our large estate and high‑end residential properties. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems across a variety of residential landscapes, ensuring optimal performance, water efficiency, and a high level of service for our clients. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and takes pride in delivering quality work in a client‑facing environment.
Job Description- Monitor, test, and inspect new and existing irrigation systems to ensure proper performance across large residential properties
- Replace or repair sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and fittings as needed
- Troubleshoot issues with sprinklers, wiring, and control systems
- Diagnose and repair two‑wire systems using wire tracing tools (where applicable)
- Perform seasonal services such as system start‑ups and winterizations
- Install timers, valves, and piping with accuracy and attention to detail
- Evaluate water usage and make adjustments to improve efficiency and system performance
- Accurately document and track job activity using Aspire and/or irrigation system apps
- Complete and submit daily reports and required documentation
- Maintain safe work practices and follow all company policies and procedures
- Interact professionally with clients while on‑site and represent Southern Botanical with a high level of service
- Support special projects or additional duties as assigned
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- 1–2 years of experience in irrigation system repair (residential experience preferred)
- Knowledge of two‑wire systems, wire tracing, and diagnostics
- Comfortable using mobile apps or software (e.g., Aspire) for reporting and tracking
- Irrigation Technician or Irrigator license (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)

Include external environment dealing with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vest and safety glasses. This position requires the ability to work during inclement weather events.
