The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced HVAC Field Technicians with the ability to travel to customer sites to start up, commission, troubleshoot and repair the equipment we represent. This position requires the capability to work independently, and candidates should have strong diagnostic skills. Requires the ability to manage projects for start‑up commissioning and coordination of personnel and services. This is a full‑time opportunity for an energetic self‑starter.
An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others. The position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Service Coordinators and customers. This position of Field Technician for our Critical Systems Solutions division is focused on supporting our equipment sales to data centers.
Fundamental Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manage projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
- Coach and review the work of lower‑level professionals
- Face difficult and sometimes complex opportunities; take a perspective to provide solutions
- Start‑up, commission, and support BMS on equipment we represent
- Perform factory start‑up, commissioning, warranty service on Data Center equipment and systems we represent.
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspections on equipment to ensure peak performance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s)
- Represent the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors and owners
- Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customer
- Work in a team‑based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Submit required paperwork to Service Coordinator in a timely manner
- Must work in a safe manner daily and ensure that all safety measures are always taken
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Demonstrated technical skills to explain product functionality to customers.

- Ability to produce clear, timely and concise documentation and have well‑developed problem‑solving skills.
