Assistant Fleet Mechanic – Fort Worth, TX

Geotex Engineering is looking for a full-time Assistant Fleet Mechanic for our Fort Worth office.

• Assist Geotechnical Mechanic with preventative maintenance on commercial vehicles, support trucks, and truck-mounted CME and Mobile drill rigs
• Perform oil changes on fleet vehicles
• Diagnose and fix minor problems on vehicles and drill rigs
• Transport equipment when needed
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed
• Communicate professionally with supervisor and co-workers

• Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.)
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Valid driver's license
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Must have your own tools
• Punctuality a must
