The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of Standard Meat Company's facilities, equipment, and building systems through preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance
• Identifying and correcting equipment issues
• Operating maintenance tools and equipment
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Ensuring work areas remain clean and organized

Qualifications and expectations:

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all Company policies
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Work in refrigerated production environments
• Respond to changing production schedules, maintain regular attendance, and work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required
• Until properly trained and authorized, may not perform work on equipment or building systems for which appropriate training has not been received
