Dump Body Installation Mechanic

K&H Truckweld is seeking a skilled Dump Body Installation Mechanic to join our team. As a Dump Body Installation Mechanic, you will play a key role installing and repairing dump bodies and related truck equipment. • Install and repair dump bodies, flat beds, power take-off (PTO) systems, auxiliary lighting systems, toolboxes, and hitches on commercial vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems efficiently and accurately.
• Perform basic fabrication tasks, including MIG welding, plasma torch cutting, grinding, drilling, measuring, and fabricating components as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain a high standard of quality in all work performed.
• Maintain a safeand organized work environment in the shop.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mechanic in the industry or related mechanical work.
• Basic knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems and mobile hydraulic systems (including PTOs and pumps).
• Experience with MIG welding and basic fabrication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must provide own basic hand tools required for the job.
• Must be punctual and able to stay on task to meet deadlines.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Two professional references from a recent employer, shop lead, foreman, or manager are required.
