Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and completing work orders and other required tasks.

• Ensuring that apartments are made ready for new residents
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Work with a team to perform routine preventative maintenance
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Provide support to Service Managers and assume a leadership role in their absence
• Diagnose problems, make repairs, and perform routine and preventative maintenance repairs
• Rotate on-call availability and provide emergency maintenance

• Previous experience in maintenance or related fields (minimum 2 years, including plumbing and electrical)
• CPO and HVAC Certificates preferred; HVAC certification is available via Tuition Reimbursement Program
• EPA certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Physical workload handling capability
• Detail oriented, deadline driven, and organized
• Valid Driver’s License; must pass criminal background and drug screening

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a professional appearance
• Ability to manage and organize multiple projects
• Weekend work and on-call emergency maintenance may be required
