Field Operations is a 24/7 Operation - weekend work may be required. This position is a first responder in severe weather conditions/emergencies which will be subject to work after hours, emergency call back hours, nights, weekends, holidays and will participate in an on‑call rotation schedule. This role requires proactive and dependable individuals who can quickly adapt to changing conditions and respond efficiently to urgent situations.

Ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the water distribution and wastewater collection systems, maintaining the success of our operations team and the satisfaction of our customers during critical times.

• High School Diploma or GED certification
• Two (2) years of water/sewer utilities experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain a TCEQ Class I Wastewater Collection license within twelve months of hire. To obtain this license, you must be able to pass a written test and criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen testing.

• One (1) year of previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of work order management software
• Possess a TCEQ Class II Wastewater Collection license or higher
• Previous experience working with a large water utility
• Possess a Class A CDL
• PACP, LACP, and MACP certified

As a Utility Line Technician, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to maintaining and repairing our city’s vital water and sewer systems. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and Repairing Water and Sewer Systems:
  You’ll be on the front lines ensuring our water and sewer systems are running smoothly, conducting everything from routine maintenance to more complex repairs.
• CCTV Video Assessments:
  Using state‑of‑the‑art technology, you’ll conduct detailed inspections of the wastewater collection system to identify issues and keep everything flowing properly.
